The Good News About The Coronavirus

During this time of uncertainty, there are a few things we can look forward to…

This is definitely a time of uncertainty. Where the only thing we know is who we are surrounded by and where we can’t go. If you look at the situation we are in head-on that’s all that you will see.

But if you look a bit closer you can see so much more…

Last night, I should in front of the mirror and thanked God for just my ability to take deep breaths without pain or restriction. For those of us who are still here, we should focus on being grateful every single day because every single morning we get to experience a new day with our loved ones…

But I still need you to look a bit closer…

At the woman who got on a flight alone to go see her mom who was passing away. I’m not talking about the fact that she got on a plane. But what amazed me is that the plane staff made this an amazing time for her full of laughs, a first-class upgrade, and social distancing filled with love. She was able to see her mom before she passed. Her mom passed on the very next day.

But I still need you to look closer….

At how this community is just one example of how we are all coming together. They created a neighborhood “I spy” game where families could find things on their walks together.

But still, come closer…I still don’t think you see it yet…

Or how Jimmy Fallon is using his gift of humor to make this uncomfortable situation a little more tolerable. On Twitter, he is asking people to change the name of our popular movies to match the Coronavirus state. I still would like to post mine ????. But here are some fun examples.

Now come just one step closer…

Or how this student went beyond her call of duty and made special face masks for the hearing impaired community. Want to how to make your own face mask? Click here.

Can you see it now?

Our advantage and benefit of all of this and the goodness that is coming out of it is kindness, love, and thoughtfulness. Just to go the extra mile, which many of us were far too busy for. Now we aim to support and be there for one another even more. And that’s amazing! For more good news, I suggest downloading the app The Good News Network.
